A Japanese – English Wedding at Crook Hall in Durham
Oh man so much going on, its been a hectic start to the new year, but I’ve managed to get another blog post done! Boom, Nailing It!
This is the lovely wedding of Rei and Peter, who live in Japan, but flew over here for a English Country garden wedding at the ever so amazing Crook Hall in Durham (one of my favourite venues!)
If you’ve read my blog before, then you know Crook Hall is genuinely one of my faves, and I don’t want to bang on about how much I love it, plus the staff are awesome and always look after me.
From Crook Hall:
“The 13th century Grade I listed Medieval hall in Durham City provides a spectacular backdrop to the stunning gardens. Visitors from all over the world come to share in the timeless magic of Crook Hall and leave inspired by these idyllic English themed gardens. Soak up the atmosphere over a home-made cream tea in the pretty courtyard or in front of a log fire in the Georgian dining room. The gardens are just a short walk from Durham City’s bustling market place. Country Life described the Hall as having “history, romance and beauty”, and it’s just waiting to capture your heart.”
Rei and Peter had a lovely day at Crook Hall, with friends and family from the UK and also with some travelling over from Japan!
Rei got ready at the venue, alongside her bridesmaids and mom (who looked awesome). From Paper cranes hanging from the trees, to the welcome signs reading both English and Japanese, the place looked amazing and it was a fantastic day.
These guys had a small blessing ceremony in the Hall, in front of their friends and family, and are also having a ceremony in Japan.
A huge shout out goes to Colin Cook Wedding Presenter and DJ, who provided the amazing entertainment, and also had the place lit up stunning.
I hope you love these pictures!
