A Lake District Wedding in Coniston
Hiya guys! This is the beautiful Lake District wedding of the amazing Mayuko and Marcus, I wanted to share this with the world the day after the wedding when I seen how stunning the pictures were.
Mayuko and Marcus flew over from Japan with some friends and family for a lovely English wedding, before a wedding in Japan too! This was a small wedding with only a handful of close friends and family, and it was wonderful!
The setting for the wedding was in Coniston in the Lake District, Mayuko got ready at The Crown Inn with some of her friends and family. After getting some lovely pictures here, I then jumped into a wedding guests car with Marcus and we headed over to the other side of the lake to Brantwood House, a beautiful house and museum overlooking the Lake, and upstairs was the Art Gallery room which is where the wedding itself took place, amazing!
The picture of Mayuko sat on the window ledge, waiting for the registrars to come and get them is one of my favourite pictures I’ve taken. I just love how they’re both sat waiting for Mayuko to go get married, and you can see a small portion of the stunning views through the window behind them.
After the wedding, guests were free to roam around the beautiful gardens and grounds, while Me, Mayuko and Marcus all headed out to get some pictures in the stunning setting. Guests had travelled from all over, so I think they could appreciate just how amazing the setting for the wedding was.
After some drinks and canapés we headed down to the waters edge, and out onto a Jetty, we got some pictures here with the lake and the “old Man of Coniston” as the backdrop, and waited for our ride, which was an awesome boat that took us on a tour around the Lake before dropping us back on the opposite side of the Lake, in time for the evening reception, which was a wonderful sit down meal back at The Crown Inn.
I hope you love these pictures and get a sense of how beautiful the day was, it blows my mind every time I see The Lake District just how beautiful it is.
The Lake district is stunning, and I appreciate it every time I get to travel there, I think the first time I ever went was only a couple of years ago and it blew my mind! If you’re looking for a wedding photographer in the Lake District then please do Get in Touch.
