The Stables at Crossbutts // Whitby Wedding Photographer
Ahhh what can I say about these two. I knew Jess and Aaron were going to be awesome when we went on an engagement shoot and they happily trudged through mud, wind and rain for photos, along with their beautiful pooch Rosie. Thats my kinds of couple.

The Stables at Crossbutts – Whitby
These guys got married at The Stables at Crossbutts, which is a beautiful venue, and if you’ve ever been to Whitby you’ve probably passed it. I didn’t realise how amazing it is inside, plus how huge and beautiful the marquee at the back is, along with the stunning views!
From The Stables:
“Once a traditional farmhouse dating back to the 17th Century (1691) with an original working range, flagstone floors and open beams the Stables restaurant is still every bit both traditional and rustic.
Here at the Stables you will find a personal approach to your wedding that is as special as it’s surroundings. Wow your guests with a buffet served by our chefs ranging from Whitby fish and chips in cones, traditional hog roast or around the world themes. We cater to your imagination and treat you and your guests to a spectacular display of food.”
“We chose The Stables at Crossbutts as it was so flexible and relaxed, as well as being an absolutely gorgeous venue. We wanted the day to be relaxed and enjoyable, so “Fun” was the theme for the day”
These guys decorated the marquee amazingly, with huge colourful balloons and cool centre pieces, they blew both me and the guests away when people saw it!
It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of this wedding. It was a stunning summers day, and we got to head out for some pictures in the early evening on the North Yorkshire Moors which is always a bonus! Plus the choice of food was superb, and I was stuffed from Whitby Fish and Chips, followed up by some indian food and Pizza. Say whaaaat…!?
Jess and Aaron can’t pick a favourite part of the day, it was that good! “I know its cliché, but we can not pick, the whole day was amazing! Even better than we imagined!”
I asked Jess and Aaron if they had any advice for future brides and grooms, and also if they had any tips for couples when they get their pictures taken.
“Make the day about you as a couple, not everyone else”. We tried to stick to this as much as possible and it was definitely made the day amazing! Don’t let people guilt you into things – especially inviting people you don’t want to be there on your big day.”
“When its time for pictures, stay relaxed and flexible. Definately do a pre-wedding photoshoot, that really helped us feel more confortable. We have to say the biggest thanks to Daz, for capturing our day perfectly.
You made the photographs another fun part of the day that we both have fond memories of, thank you.”
“All of our suppliers were amazing!!”
