A Runa Farm Wedding in Barnard Castle
Eeeee man I absolutely love these wedding photos from Runa Farm!
Jack and Taisha had an absolutely stunning day at Runa Farm, with both wedding parties getting ready at the venue, it mean the able to call between the two to get pictures of everyone getting ready. I think the prep pictures here are gorgeous, and those bride reveal photos to the girls of Taisha are stunning!
After the ceremony everyone enjoyed drinks and canapés in the courtyard before heading inside to the speeches and meal, I do think these guys have got beautiful taste because with their suppliers they put together a day that looked gorgeous and leant itself perfectly to Runa Farm.
I hope you love these pictures!
“When we were first looking for a wedding venue, and found Runa Farm, Jack was smitten from the pictures of the mini burgers and steins on the website but overall we chose Runa Farm because of the beautiful design, the amazing reviews.
We really wanted to create a chilled, relaxed feel on the day and we are suckers for an autumn bohemian look so when we saw Runa, it felt perfectly designed.
All the colours and vibes we loved were already in the venue, making it so easy for us to decorate and personalize in a way we loved.”
How did you find the wedding photography throughout the day?
Daz and Rob – the second photographer – were absolutely incredible!
Both of us are a little (very) awkward in front of a camera but they made it so easy and informal (made us laugh) which was perfect for us.
Something we really appreciated was the guys made sure to get through our wanted shot-list as quick as possible, which was so great, as we then got to mingle with guests. They were also really perceptive to when we had just had enough of taking pics for a moment, letting us take a break and then coming back when we were ready (but still sticking to time lines – magicians!)
Advice for couples is just to trust the photographers, they will get the most beautiful and the most authentic pictures where all the chins are out, ugly laughing and crying, and they will always end up being the best pics ever from the day.
Our Favourite part of the day was after the ceremony, we had 10 mins to just have a drink, a moment to be together before we went down to see everyone at the drinks reception. Those 10 minutes meant the world to let it sink in that we were officially hitched!
We ended up chatting about the morning, celebrating that we did it and slow dancing (technically having a first dance, now I think about it) just us two.
Our advice for future couples would be to try to spend time together because half the time you’re dragged into separate conversations trying to catch up with people. Have an allocated 10 mins to just be together and let it settle in that you’ve tied the knot! Try to relax, have fun, you cannot control everything on the day. You’ve both worked so hard to make these dreams a reality, be present to enjoy it!
