This was my first time photographing a wedding at Askham hall and it was amazing. The sun was shining all day and there was a beautiful sunset on the evening too!

I absolutely loved this first time photographing this wedding at Askham Hall, im super excited to head back soon! From bridal prep in the huge light bridal suite, to the boys getting ready in the courtyard with buttonholes, this place had so many stunning areas and features.
One of my favourite parts of photographing this wedding was when everyone got to stand outside in the sunshine for drinks and canapés while the violinist played outside. There was also so many different areas for couples wedding pictures and beautiful backdrops for family formal wedding photos, that I was almost spoilt for choice!
It was so nice that guests got to hang around outside the hall at first for mingling and drinks, before heading over to the wedding barn for the speeches, wedding breakfast and evening reception. We even got to get some more pictures at sunset after the meal, in the fields and wooded area nearby.
