Bowburn Hall Durham Wedding
Ooooo what a lovely day! I’ve met Kate and Tom a few times at other weddings and it was a total pleasure to capture their lovely day.
These guys got married at St John’s Church, Stillington before heading over to Bowborn Hall for their wedding reception. I’ve photographed weddings a few times at Bowburn Hall, and I genuinely think it has one of the best dance floors with lighting on a night, I love that they black it out so you can really get a sweat on under the lasers.
What made you choose where to get married?
The Church has special place in Kate’s heart, both my grandparents and parents were married in this church. Our daughter was christened in this church and my father’s ashes are laid to rest here so it felt warming that he was part of our day.
The Venue – We loved Bowburn Hall from the moment we viewed it and knew we wanted to get married there. The exclusive package sold it to us, having the whole venue to ourselves with all of our favourite people was the icing on the cake.
The venue is stylish and quirky with a homely feel too. The grounds are amazing and the perfect setting for our photographs. The main room speaks for its self, it is stunning!
