Ohhh yeah! Are you ready for this one!? This was my first ever Ellingham Hall wedding and I Loved it, definitely a new wedding venue for the favourites list! Plus dog friendly too, which is a definite plus in my books! Check out the gorgeous pictures we got of Snowy, some of my favourites, I do love dogs!

Kelly and Simon got married here during the summer and made the most of their whole wedding day, filling every little gap with entertainment and something to do for their guests. I hope these pictures reflect what a great day it was!

Ellingham Hall Wedding

We fell in love with Ellingham Hall as soon as we visited. Kelly came away crying and knew it was ‘the one’.

We wanted a venue that had exclusive 2 day hire and wasn’t like a conveyerbelt of weddings, so we could make the most out of our wedding weekend (a day just wasn’t enough haha!) Also our venue had to be dog friendly to accommodate our furbaby, Snowy.

About Ellingham Hall

Ellingham Hall is a country house based in Northumberland. There are historical records of a building on the land, but Ellingham Hall as it is today was built in the 19th century and stands upon eight acres.

After being a school, the hall was closed in 1984 when plans fell through to turn it into 8 flats. It was then left to vandalism, theft and open to the elements for many years until 1995. This is when its current owners purchased the property and spent ten years redeveloping it into the amazing venue that it is today.

Ellingham Hall is an exclusive use wedding venue, meaning you can arrive the night before your wedding and check out the day after your wedding. Enjoy the hall and it’s grounds the entire time with your guests, with sharing boards, a barbecue and delicious drinks being available for you all on the evening before the wedding.
Ellingham Hall also has a rustic treehouse for the kids to enjoy, and an underground entertainment den for the older kids. All with a pool table and built in music system.
