A Cancun Wedding at Planet Hollywood
Wow, where to start with this amazing wedding!
As much as I am a destination wedding photographer, Cancun is now definitely the furthest I have travelled from the UK for a wedding! I travel to Greece often for weddings, and I love weddings abroad, and Mexico definitely did not disappoint!
Chloe got in touch after reading my reviews online, and enquired about being able to fly me out to Mexico, for peace of mind that she was going to get relaxed wedding photographs, instead of awkward and stuffy pictures she had seen elsewhere!
I keep my pricing super simple for when I travel abroad, packaging it up as one easy price, instead of passing on the cost of hotels and flights.
As a bonus for these guys too, I also got both Wedding Video and Photo on the day.
Not only did we have lovely weather, great surroundings and a beach, but Chloe arranged to have a Fire and Water show towards the end of the night, which was amazing to see!
I stayed at the Planet Hollywood Hotel (Indian and steak restaurants were my favourite btw) and this made the whole process easier too. I got to meet everyone before the wedding, and I was also on hand for photos the evening before the wedding when all of the guests were having a BBQ on the beach.
There was also no worries about travelling before and after the wedding because we were all together!
I asked Chloe and Steven about their day, how they found it choosing to get married abroad, and also how they found having their photos taken on the day, since that’s what they took me for!
How did you decide on getting married in Cancun?
“As soon as we got engaged we knew we would always get married abroad, we then had our hearts set on Mexico and as soon as we saw Planet Hollywood we knew that was the place!
Having Daz for the entire day to take photos was the best choice, we managed to get around everybody and get all of the photos we needed/wanted without rushing around. We made sure we got everything we needed in a short space of time.
We just loved every single second of the whole day, and flying Daz out to Mexico with us just made the day that so much better, it was like having another friend there!
If we could give any future couples any advice it would be to use Daz Mack as your Photographer!!!”
