A White Syke Fields Wedding
Heyyyy! So….. I may have a new favourite venue, and you will see why when you look at these pictures!
I absolutely loved being a part of Beks and Sams wedding, its was amazing from start to finish, and so chilled out and lovely, just what you want from a cool wedding like this!
What made you choose White Syke Field for your Wedding Day?
Have you seen it!? It’s incredible! As soon as we stepped in at our initial viewing we knew it was the perfect place for us. Proper relaxed, a little quirky, and just really fun- exactly what we wanted our wedding to be. Plus the owner Charlotte and wedding coordinator Steph were so helpful and accommodating they made it as stress free as possible for us!
Did you have a special “Theme”/ Style for your wedding?
Is us a theme? If so that’s definitely the theme we went for! We knew from the offset we weren’t traditional type of people. Having such a wide age range of guests from our 3 month old daughter to Beks 87 year old Grandpa we knew we wanted a day that was enjoyable and fun for all.
We wanted to create a day where everyone walked in and went ‘yep this is definitely Beks and Sam’. From the caravan photo booth, the unlimited ice creams and the subtle nods to Leeds united famous blue and yellow to to the millions of Pom poms, the bouncy castle and pink tinsel wall, plus every little trinket and photo frame we carted in from our own home we definitely think we achieved just that.
Dress Designer and Retailer: The Becky dress by Wed2B (giving birth 3 months earlier we were on a strict timeline) but it was altered by the amazing
Bridesmaids Dresses: All of my 3 bridesmaids and my bridesman wore whatever they wanted to (all in shades of blue and pink) (excluding my baby girl who wore what I told her to 🤣)
Makeup: my sister (she is a trained makeup artist and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my face)
Styling: all us but with a big shout out to @rusticrosestyling for orchestrating on the day and helping source bits for us
Caterers: wedding breakfast was tapas made by @eatmedrinkme, mid afternoon icecreams were @reallycoolicecream, evening pizzas were @bistoguy
Amazing caravan photo booth was @essentialboothuk, letter lights were @limelighthire and brilliant singer was Tom Anderson
